Warriors’ Kevon Looney scheduled to play Monday against Hawks

ORLANDO — Warriors center Kevon Looney (Neuropathy) is scheduled to play in Atlanta on Monday, coach Steve Kerr said, and will be on a minutes restriction upon his return.

Looney, who has missed most of the season with a neuropathic condition, went through warmups before Sunday’s game in Orlando. He will receive treatment Monday morning, at which point the Warriors will make a final decision on his availability.

After missing the preseason with a right hamstring injury, Looney, 23, played briefly in the season opener against the L.A. Clippers but left the game by halftime. It was later revealed that a neuropathic condition was complicating his recovery.
