LAS VEGAS – The Warriors’ new rookie sauntered into his introductory press conference. He sported a light gray suit, shiny black shoes and fitted glasses.
He has since stepped on the court during summer-league play. He has exuded confidence both through hot and cold shooting stretches and when opponents tested him physically.
Jordan Poole has not hesitated showing off his swagger, both with his fashion choices and how he plays. Underneath that persona, though, Poole has an inner quality that has helped him flourish through both good and bad times.
“I always feel like I’m in an under-dog situation and am overlooked,” the 20-year-old Poole said.
