Warriors' Jacob Evans elbowed in face vs. Mavericks, taken to hospital

Warriors guard Jacob Evans left Tuesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks and was taken to a nearby hospital for testing after he was elbowed in the face in the second quarter.

Jacob Evans III is being evaluated and will go to the hospital for further tests.

Mavericks big man Dwight Powell's right elbow caught Evans in the face as Powell went up for an alley-oop. Evans needed assistance off the court and to the locker room.

Jacob Evans was helped off the court after taking this hit to the face.
