Warriors hang on against Hawks, but lose Curry to injury

After getting a scare when Stephen Curry tweaked his right ankle and limped off in the first quarter, the Warriors relaxed a bit when he returned in the second quarter to terrorize the Hawks.

Curry scored 28 points -- 18 after tweaking his ankle -- equaling Kevin Durant’s output as the Warriors hung on for a 114-109 the victory in Atlanta.

Nick Young added 16 points off the bench and Klay Thompson totaled 14 as the Warriors (49-14) won their fifth consecutive game. Andre Iguodala’s steal and ensuring dunk with 5.4 seconds left finally finished off the resilient Hawks.
