Draymond Green was exactly right.
The Trail Blazers didn’t “quit” Wednesday night, but they’re most certainly “done” after the Warriors clinched the Western Conference semifinal series with a 125-121 Game 5 victory at Oracle Arena.
Following the Warriors’ Game 4 victory in Portland, Green was asked if he thought Portland was done, and he responded in a way only the vociferous power forward could.
“Of course, I think they’re done,” Green said. “If I don’t think they’re done, I don’t know who else is going to think it. … It’s up to us to close it out, and I trust my teammates to come out ready to go and close out this series.
