As the league confronts the suspension of play after Utah’s Rudy Gobert tested positive for coronavirus Wednesday night, NBA teams and officials engaged in hours of phone calls on Thursday to determine next steps.
With calls scheduled throughout the day, a press conference with Warriors head coach Steve Kerr and general manager Bob Myers was postponed to early next week. Raymond Ridder, Golden State’s vice president of communications, wrote in a text message: “Nothing today. Too many questions that we don’t have answers to.”
