As decision day looms for Paul George, the Golden State Warriors are clearly making it known they are ready for the Clipper to call the Bay Area his new home. While general manager Mike Dunleavy couldn’t say George’s name directly, he made it clear to the Athletic’s Tim Kawakami that he believes the team is in position to acquire a big-named player like the 34-year-old wing.
“I think it’s possible because we have the assets to do so,” Dunleavy said on “The TK Show” podcast, which was released on Friday morning.
