Warriors rookie Eric Paschall at one point lived just down the street from Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell. The two grew up as close friends, playing on travel teams together and eventually both finding a path to the NBA.
Neither of the two was a certified blue-chip prospect, and both had to grind to get to where they are today.
"No one really expected me and Donovan to be where we are today," Paschall told Bleacher Report's Howard Beck on the "Full 48" podcast. "Because we were the two kids from Westchester (County), everybody else was in the city, we just had to prove ourselves.
