OAKLAND – The defending champion Warriors came out for Media Day on Monday embracing the disrespect coming their way.
The chatter around the NBA seems to point toward the Cleveland Cavaliers or the San Antonio Spurs dethroning the Warriors.
“Nobody’s picking us to win,” Marreese Speights said.
“More motivation for us,” center Andrew Bogut said.
“I don’t question anything about our abilities,” Stephen Curry said.
The Warriors lost none of their top nine players, in terms of minutes played.
They also won a championship after achieving a franchise record 67 wins last season, which was their first in the offensive system installed by rookie head coach Steve Kerr.
