OAKLAND – The Warriors will be without a key All-Star and a blossoming reserve for at least another night. Both Draymond Green (right toe) and Alfonzo McKinnie (left foot) will sit out when the Warriors (14-7) host the Orlando Magic (10-10) on Monday at Oracle Arena.
The Warriors anticipated both players sitting out since they have yet to participate in a full scrimmage. Typically, Warriors coach Steve Kerr wants his an injured player to practice first before phasing him back into the rotation. That leaves the possibility open that both Green and McKinnie could return for Thursday’s game against Toronto.
