The Warriors reportedly believe his injury could have him sidelined for up to three months. Payton was "playing through pain in Portland" and being administered Toradol shots, and "this had not been relayed to the Warriors during the negotiation process," the Athletic said. Golden State has to decide to either go through with the deal or rescind the entire four-team trade by Saturday.
