PORTLAND - Stephen Curry went through Friday morning’s shootaround wearing soccer-like shin guards, and he plans to play through his left shin contusion Friday night when the Warriors face the Trail Blazers.
“I’m trying out some stuff,” Curry said of the shin guards. “There are a bunch of different options. I’m just trying to find one that’s not too heavy. I don’t want to look like a football player out there with pads, but also, I want one that will protect me enough - in case, I do get kicked again.
“We’ll keep trying out stuff until we find one that works.
