Golden State Warriors co-owner Peter Guber was born and raised in Boston. He has a very noticeable Boston accent when he speaks.
After the Dubs won the 2022 NBA Finals in six games Thursday night, Guber spoke at the team's trophy presentation and really leaned into that accent for the few remaining Celtics fans still left inside TD Garden.
"Never give up, never give in, go all the way, on the parquet floor, two Boston guys winning it at the garden," Guber said, with extreme emphasis on the "a" in garden.
