Warriors cancel practice as sports world mourns loss of Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant, the celebrated shooting guard who led the Los Angeles Lakers to five NBA championships, was one of five people who died in a helicopter crash in Southern California on Sunday morning. He was 41.

The Warriors were in the middle of practice when the news, first reported by TMZ and later confirmed by multiple outlets, broke. They canceled practice and were too upset by the news to address the media Sunday afternoon.
