OAKLAND -- Warriors center Andrew Bogut, who left in the third quarter of a 111-95 win over New Orleans on Tuesday night after sustaining a laceration to his head, has been diagnosed with a concussion, the team announced Wednesday afternoon.
Bogut will not be cleared to play until symptoms subside, as dictated by NBA protocol guidelines.
Bogut was injured when he banged heads with Pelicans forward Dante Cunningham while both were going for a rebound. Cunningham fell to the floor, while Bogut immediately walked off the court as blood streamed down the right side his face from the cut.
