When Andre Iguodala re-signed with the Warriors in September, he explicitly said the 2022-23 season was it. “I’m letting you know right now, Steph [Curry], this is the last one,” he said on his podcast at the time. The 39-year-old Iguodala even said he was “retired for most of the summer” last year.
That announcement — and nothing contradicting it since — led to a widespread assumption that Iguodala's NBA career ended with the Dubs' Game 6 loss to the Lakers last week.
