United States women’s national team star Alex Morgan paid homage to Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry in a celebration post with the CONCACAF women’s championship trophy.
The United States defeated Canada 1-0 on Monday on a penalty shot that Morgan scored in the 78th minute of the match. Afterward, the former Cal striker posted a photo on her Instagram of herself doing Curry’s famous “night night” celebration pose, where he pretends to fall asleep on two clasped hands. Morgan is seated next to the competition trophy in the post, and has the Golden Ball trophy on her lap, awarded to the tournament’s best player.
