Even when Steph Curry was healthy, Ty Jerome was playing, logging a consistent 18 to 20 minutes a game off the Warriors' bench. But with Jordan Poole as the primary ballhandler for the second unit, Jerome was mostly relegated to focusing on defense as an off-ball wing, cratering his usage rate to the lowest of his career. When Curry's injury forced Poole into the starting lineup, though, Steve Kerr declared it was Jerome's chance to shine.
“Ty will be on the ball quite a bit,” Kerr said Feb. 6. “He’s really good at running a team.
