The Golden State Warriors celebrated Halloween on Wednesday night, riding strong performances from Stephen Curry and Draymond Green to a 131-121 victory over the visiting New Orleans Pelicans (and granting Boogie Cousins some revenge in the process). In honor of the festive occasion, and recollecting Bill Simmons’ nickname for Tony Allen, I’ll recap the game in “trick” or “treat” flavors:
Trick: Anthony Davis’s return from injury. Listed as a “game-time decision” earlier in the day before confirming to sources that he would play, AD was largely ineffective, stymied by the variety of defenders the Dubs threw at him.
