Trail Blazers, Lillard, beat Warriors at own game

The first game for the Golden State Warriors out of the All-Star Break turned into the Damian Lillard show.

The Portland Trail Blazers beat the Warriors by 32, the worst loss by a defending champion since the Heat lost by 42 points to the Bulls on opening night in the 2006-07 season.

The Warriors' defense, which typically allows teams to score 103 points and shoot 31 percent from 3-point range, allowed 17 3-pointers on 57 percent shooting from long range Friday.

On offense, the Warriors were unusually sloppy. Their 13 turnovers in the third quarter were the most by any team in any quarter since the Pacers had 13 (coincidentally, against the Warriors) in January 2008.
