Top Warriors coach Mike Brown reportedly in the running for Clippers job

The Golden State Warriors were terrible last season, but their coaching staff is still in high demand.

ESPN reporter Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted on Tuesday that Warriors associate head coach Mike Brown recently interviewed for the Los Angeles Clippers head coaching position, which opened up unexpectedly after team owner Steve Ballmer decided to fire Doc Rivers. (Rivers quickly signed on as the head coach of the Philadelphia 76ers.)

Brown has been the associate coach of the Warriors since 2016; he led the team to a 12-0 record during the 2017 playoffs when head coach Steve Kerr was dealing with a painful back injury.
