Well, Warriors fans, it’s finally over — the regular season, not the Dynasty, but maybe that too. It began nearly instantly to resemble something of a snakebit season, one you’re desperate to call a mulligan on, replete with not only the usual suspects, like Gratuitous Draymond Antics, dishonorable blown leads and befuddled coaching, but also the sudden death of assistant coach Dejan Milojevic. Simply put, it felt like a cursed year, a broken team.
Even as Golden State got it together and finished the season on something of a run, with plenty of momentum and largely free of the malaise that plagued the team during the bleak early months, it still might be too little too late.
