SACRAMENTO — The Warriors have waived center Marquese Chriss, the team announced Monday night.
As guard Damion Lee has only two more days left of the 45 days he’s allowed to spend with Golden State, the move will allow the Warriors to promote two-way guard Damion Lee to the 15-man roster. Chriss signed a non-guaranteed contract during training camp that would have become fully guaranteed on Jan. 10.
