The vibes are different on this Warriors’ team than last season’s and yet… a .500 record seems to exert a gravitational pull on this team as well. The vibes are different — this team doesn’t seem to have interpersonal drama within its own roster (save for Draymond Green’s ongoing battle with his own demons and European centers) — but mediocrity fuels speculation. To that point, The Athletic’s Tim Kawakami published an article recently that pointed out the obvious; the Warriors seem primed for a trade that consolidates its overwhelming depth into a more coherent, playoff-ready roster.
