The shortest offseason in Warriors history is about to come to an end, and it’s about time! At 1 p.m. on Monday, all Warriors players and coaches will come together for the first time since the team went their separate ways at the conclusion of the Championship Parade on that picturesque day in Oakland.
The setting for this first official team gathering of the title-defending season will be about a mile away from that joyous celebration on the shores of Lake Merritt – back at team headquarters for Media Day. The occasion will be on the eve of the opening of the team’s 2015 training camp, and the event will serve as the unofficial start of the new season.
