The Unlit Beam (Warriors 123, Kings 116)

The beam stayed unlit on Wednesday night, as the Golden State Warriors nabbed a rare but much-needed road win in Game 5 of the I-80 series. After a slow first quarter, the Warriors’ stars showed up in Sacramento. Steph Curry poured in 30 points, closely followed by Klay Thompson’s 25, Draymond Green’s 21, and Andrew Wiggins’ 20. The man in the middle, Kevon Looney, backed up their scoring with an astounding 22 rebounds and 7 assists. This game reminded everyone why the traditional starters are the best lineup in the league, and it has the Warriors one win from the second round.
