Klay Thompson has always been one of my favorite NBA players. Last year when I covered the All-Star game, I went right past LeBron James and Stephen Curry – I wanted to talk to Klay at the media availability (there was also at least a hundred people in front of the two captains, so the choice was easy)
But still – Klay has a certain lure. As the classic Seinfeld episode “The conversion”, where Kramer has “the kavorka” and Sister Roberta becomes smitten with him, I feel the same way about Klay.
He has the lure of the animal.
