Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr weighed in on the Republican and Democratic parties, the 2020 presidential race and Donald Trump on Wednesday in a tweet.
"I believe the vast majority of Americans want a unifying, moral leader. The GOP has sold its soul to Trump, so the Dems have to get this right in 2020," he wrote on Twitter. "Make this about jobs and unification. Period."
He included a link to a New York Times column written by Thomas L. Friedman titled, "Trump's Going to Get Re-elected, Isn't He?" Friedman's column expands on similar themes that Kerr opined on in his tweet.
