Still in Control (Warriors 119, Kings 97)

The Warriors stayed in control of their destiny with a 119-97 win over the Sacramento Kings on Friday night. The Splash Brothers dropped 54 points, and a dominant 66-49 second half keyed the comfortable victory. Thanks to the win, the Dubs control their destiny. Beating Portland in the season finale would clinch the top six seed.

This one doesn’t have many take-aways. Sacramento’s best players — De’Aaron Fox, Domantas Sabonis, Kevin Huerter, and Malik Monk — all sat out on Friday. (Perhaps Mike Brown wants us to play Phoenix in the first round.) It did remind us of Sacramento’s depth.
