Steve Kerr downplayed President Trump’s criticism of him over his quiet comments on the NBA’s current situation with the Chinese government.
“I was just the shiny object,” Kerr said Thursday before the Warriors’ preseason game against the Timberwolves. There was another one today, and there will be another one tomorrow, and the circus will go on.”
Wednesday, Trump took the opportunity to make it clear he felt Kerr looked weak when Kerr said he didn’t have enough information to comment on the NBA’s growing public-relations issue in China.
