During this extended NBA All-Star break, Steve Kerr may have had a hankering for hoops.
The Warriors coach took in the Cal men’s basketball team’s loss to No. 6 Oregon on Wednesday night alongside Counting Crows lead singer Adam Duritz and new Cal football coach Justin Wilcox.
Kerr is far from a stranger to Cal’s Haas Pavilion — his son, Nick, played a season with the Golden Bears as a graduate student. But it was a Bay Area treat to have Kerr attend the Cal game before the Warriors’ return to action Thursday.
