Stephen Curry’s shoes raise $45,201 for Oakland Fire Relief fund

Stephen Curry is setting records off the court, too.

The owner of NBA records for most three-pointers in a season and most threes in a game, Curry auctioned a pair of his game-worn shoes for $30,101 Friday afternoon on eBay. It was a record price for shoes of a currently active NBA player, per ESPN’s Darren Rovell.

Curry donned the pair — which featured “Oakland” on one shoe and “Strong” on the other in graffiti-style writing, Curry’s autograph and the initials of every victim of the recent Oakland warehouse fire —when he scored eight points on 3-of-14 shooting in the Warriors’ Dec.
