HAYWARD – Warriors guard Stephen Curry shot an 86 Friday afternoon in the second round of the Web.com Tour’s Ellie Mae Classic at TPC Stonebrae.
With the finish, Curry, who finished 17-over par for the tournament, was eliminated from contention after failing to reach the top 65 after two rounds.
“That’s how golf goes,” Curry said. “One day you have it, and one day you completely lose it and have no idea what you’re doing.”
Curry’s inconsistent play in the tournament continued Friday afternoon.
