If you watched the NBA Finals on ABC, you were bombarded with commercials for a strange new show involving Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry called “Holey Moley.” And you undoubtedly wondered: “What the heck is THAT?!”
Basically, “Holey Moley” is miniature golf on steroids. In each episode, 12 contestants take on an epic 10-hole course full of super-sized obstacles, including the highly daunting Mt. Holey Moley.
“It’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’ meets ‘American Ninja Warrior,’ meets a big-time reality check, because this course humbles everyone,” says Jeannie Mai, a San Jose native who serves as the show’s sideline correspondent.
