If you haven’t been following the NFL, well . . . I can’t blame you. But this is at least a good piece of news: the Carolina Panthers are going up for sale. Their majority owner Jerry Richardson is selling the team after it became public that he had sexually harassed, and used racial slurs towards employees.
It didn’t take long for a high profile businessman to get involved in the sale: Diddy. The rapper, entrepreneur, and entertainment mogul immediately jumped on Twitter to not only profess his plan to purchase the team, but point out that no NFL team has an African-American majority owner.
