Steph Curry let Ray Allen's NBA Finals record last only eight years

Editor's note: Stephen Curry's unprecedented NBA career has entered its 10th season, so we visited with the Warriors star to detail his Top 10 moments, and he obliged.

In Game 2 of the 2010 NBA Finals between the Lakers and Celtics, Boston shooting guard Ray Allen made an NBA Finals single-game record eight 3-pointers.

Eight years later, Steph Curry leapfrogged him.

In Game 2 of the 2018 NBA Finals, Curry drilled nine 3-pointers (on 16 attempts) in Golden State's 19-point win over the Cavs.

"Records are hard to break. That's why it's notable when you do," Curry told NBC Sports Bay Area.
