Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry, like many pro athletes of late, has been increasingly outspoken about his political views. In August, he appeared at the virtual Democratic National Convention to endorse the Joe Biden/Kamala Harris ticket. More recently, he expressed his discomfort at President Donald Trump's first debate performance, including the president's dismissive response about his far-right supporters.
On Tuesday, in an interview with The Washington Post, Curry was asked about whether he might consider a future in politics. The question, posed by reporter Ben Strauss, came after Curry announced "a series of long-form interviews focused on the global pandemic and voting ahead of November’s election.
