All the Golden State Warriors needed to do for Steph Curry was to win at least one additional game — but alas, they were unable to do so.
In the alternate timeline that they managed to do so, however, Curry would’ve been in line for a Game 6 return, one that would’ve granted him an additional three days of recovery, due to the home opener of the Golden State Valkyries taking place in Chase Center. By that time, Curry would most likely have been cleared by Warriors’ director of sports medicine and performance, Rick Celebrini.
“Everything was kind of aligned for (me to return for) Game 6,” Curry told reporters during his exit interview with the media.
