I’m going to build on Viggy’s pre-season Game 1 “quick-hitting thoughts” here. Mine will be different but not because of disagreement. But because mine will be a two-game composite and proceed as much by “feel” as “observation.”
And also my attention will focus much more on emerging style of play than individual evaluation.
And most likely our impressionistic sketch of who this team will turn out to be will proceed thusly for quite a while longer—as detail and depth are added in painterly layers game by game.
But I proceed from one near certainty. That Steve Kerr already knows who this team can be.
