The Patrick McCaw offseason saga took another strange turn over the weekend when several players came forward anonymously to express concern about their former teammate.
In a story by The Athletic's Marcus Thompson, several players alluded to the possibility that something beyond basketball is factoring into McCaw's decision to jilt the Warriors. In the last month, McCaw has turned down two contracts offered by the team, one for one year and $1.7 million and another for two years and $5.2 million.
