If the Golden State Warriors and Denver Nuggets were to meet in the playoffs this year, it would have to be after a series of upsets landed both squads in the Western Conference Finals. But that hasn’t stopped one ex-Dubs star from starting some beef with the Mile High City franchise.
In the latest episode of the “Draymond Green Show” podcast published Monday, co-host Baron Davis, a Warrior from 2005 to 2008, called out the Nuggets for their 2025 postseason slogan: “We Believe.” Davis took issue with it because, as fans of a certain age may remember, that was the exact same slogan his legendary Golden State squad ran with back in 2007.
