The Golden State Warriors are again in a rut, as arguably the two most winnable games in this stretch from basketball hell both went awry down the stretch. First, it was an inexplicable loss to a road-weary Indiana Pacers squad that saw Andrew Nembhard outduel the Dubs by himself down the stretch, with Andrew Wiggins sidelined due to an adductor strain. Then, with three-fifths of their championship-winning core out due to injury (Wiggins still out, Stephen Curry and Draymond Green also joining him in the training room), the Warriors did everything they could to win against the Utah Jazz on the road…except actually win.
Snatching Defeat from the Jaws of Victory (Warriors 0, Opponents 2)
