SAN FRANCISCO – The inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump won’t likely top the Broadway-esque performance at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Chase Center in San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood on Tuesday.
Golden State owners Joe Lacob and Peter Guber outdid themselves with the theatrics presented on stage throughout the dedication of the Warriors future home.
A gospel choir kicked things off with praise and positive vibes before the one-liners began flying from those honored during the program, including San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee telling a story of how he once introduced himself to Lacob as the “Jeremy Lin of mayors.
