NEW ORLEANS — Russell Westbrook has long appreciated high-end fashion. The Thunder guard wears head-scratching outfits to games, doodles designs in his free time and makes a point to track New York Fashion Week annually.
Anyone naïve to Westbrook’s love for clothing received quite the edification Friday. During his eight-minute media availability at All-Star weekend, he responded to almost every question about his former Oklahoma City teammate, Warriors forward Kevin Durant, by turning the topic to fashion.
“Man, you know what, fashion week has been great,” Westbrook said when asked about being on the West All-Star team with Durant.
