Rookie Jordan Bell overcomes growing pains in NBA Finals

CLEVELAND — Jordan Bell’s rookie season with the Warriors has been consistently inconsistent.

A strong start devolved into questionable mid-season work habits after an injury, causing his playing time to shrink.

Now, with the Warriors on the brink of their third championship in four years, Bell has become an integral part of these NBA Finals.

In Wednesday’s 110-102 Game 3 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, Bell had his best postseason performance, posting 10 points and six rebounds in 12 minutes. He is providing an athletic spark to complement the Warriors’ batch of all-stars.

Nearly five months ago, Bell sat on the United Center floor thinking his season was over.
