KGO sports anchor Mike Shumann has reportedly been sent home from the NBA playoffs after video surfaced of him taking a jacket that belonged to the Warriors' director of team security.
The video, which was seen by The Athletic and ESPN, appears to show Shumann taking Ralph Walker's jacket after Warriors practice in San Antonio last week. He reportedly walks out of the building with the jacket in hand.
The Athletic reported some members of the Warriors were upset with how "the team handled the incident" and were concerned Shumann received "special treatment." ESPN says some players are refusing to do interviews with KGO, which has an exclusive deal with the team for postgame interviews.
