One particularly interesting aspect of Monday’s game against the Jazz was actually two points Draymond made post-game. I’ve cued the post-game below to begin with the first of those two points…
Q: “Draymond, what specifically would you like to see you guys improve defensively?”
Draymond doesn’t miss a beat.
“Our pick-and-roll coverage.”
He goes on to detail how that begins by being able to control the point of attack. And how, when you can’t do that, it also leads to more uncontested opponent 3’s because the rest of the W’s defense is sucked in to try to compensate for the initial breach.
