The 1995-96 Chicago Bulls might not be happy that the Warriors are on the verge of breaking their record, but at least one former Bull offered congratulations after Golden State won its 72nd game, tying the Bulls' NBA mark.
Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen sent out two tweets complimenting the Warriors after they defeated the San Antonio Spurs 92-86 on Sunday to improve to 72-9."Giving credit where credit is due. Congrats to @SteveKerr and his @warriors on win no. 72. They earned it tonight," Pippen tweeted. Warriors coach Kerr was a teammate of Pippen's on that record-setting Bulls team.
