Before Paul George agreed to sign a massive deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, the Golden State Warriors were in talks to acquire him in a trade with the Los Angeles Clippers, but they reportedly didn't want to give up their best young player to get him.
According to ESPN's Ramona Shelbourne, the Clippers asked for forward Jonathan Kuminga to be included in a deal for George, but the Warriors "resisted because Kuminga is so important to their own future."
