The stalemate between Patrick McCaw and the Golden State Warriors is over. McCaw officially became a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night, and on Monday was practicing with his new squad.
Not surprisingly, McCaw’s first practice with his new team featured some questions about his old team. And to McCaw’s credit, he was open and in good spirits while discussing the team that drafted him and helped him win two rings.
The third-year wing was asked why he didn’t want to return to the Warriors, and answered in a way that praised Golden State, while admitting that it was time for a new chapter.
